Summer 2019

I can’t believe we’re already well into the summer of 2019! These years are flying by. Here at Baldry’s Grasmere we’re still super busy fuelling walkers and locals alike with our delicious tea & coffee and homemade cakes.

Baldry’s Vegetable Garden

This year our vegetable garden is back and better than ever! With an extra bed this year, we are able to grow even more and better produce than previous years. Keep an eye out for the blogs to follow on this, it’s been great to watch this years harvest grow and feature on some of our dishes.

‘Summery’ Specials

This year we’ve even had a makeover on some of our specials throughout summer! Our homemade lemonade has always been a firm favourite with customers on some of the hottest days throughout summer. Some days we can even get through 10 litres of the stuff! This year our new raspberry homemade lemonade has been a proven success. I wonder what flavour we should make it next year!

As always there have been lots of different cakes and special lunch dishes going on, including a homegrown beetroot and goats cheese slice!
