Baldry’s Cottage is the perfect mix of style and location at the heart of the Lake District. By day, if you’re exploring the area, Grasmere can be all hustle & bustle, but by evening on your return, it becomes a lovely peaceful village again.
Baldry's Cottage is located in Grasmere in The Lake District. It’s Farrow & Ball interior and exquisite details give you urban chic meets classic country. Located in the very heart of Grasmere, one of the most popular villages in the lakes, it provides an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District and all it has to offer.
This Lake District Cottage comfortably sleeps 5 in it's 3 gorgeous bedrooms. You also have a comfy lounge, modern bathroom and not forgetting the country kitchen with everything you could need to enjoy your stay.

HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION IN THE LAKE DISTRICT
This first floor room has two & three seat leather sofas, coffee table, 32" Smart TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi. It also features a small table & chair and a gorgous antique armoire, home to some games. Your private garden with outdoor furniture is accessed from the lounge via some steps.
THE LOUNGE
Located on the ground floor, the country style kitchen features a fabulous three oven gas AGA. There is also a farmhouse table with five chairs, a fridge, microwave, dishwasher & TV.
THE KITCHEN
This first floor room with it's juliette balcony has a king size double bed with two bedside drawers and lamps.
A dressing table, walk-in wardrobe and a lovely traditional wooden floor complete this master bedroom.
BEDROOM 1 - KING SIZE DOUBLE
This cosy first floor room is carpeted and has a single bed, bedside table with a lamp, built-in wardrobe and TV.
BEDROOM 2 - SINGLE
This comfortable, carpeted double bedroom is located on the first floor. The comfy double bed has one bedside table and lamp. In addition there is a dressing table, mirror a built-in wardrobe for your clothes & TV for your entertainment.
BEDROOM 3 - DOUBLE
This first floor contemporary bathroom features lots of stone tiles. It has a walk-in power shower with body jets, WC, wash basin & large radiator with towel hooks. There is ample hot water.

Payment for a booking is by credit, debit card or cheque and all bookings require a deposit. We will take card details for your booking but will only take full payment 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Long weekends & midweek breaks are available at certain times of the year. Please contact us for late availability.
Changeover day is Friday.
Check in after 3pm.
Check out 10.00am.
Hospitality is our business and we want our guests to enjoy their stay with us at Baldry's Cottage. In your holiday cottage you'll find high quality bed linen & towels are provided for your comfort. We also provide basic cleaning materials & kitchen towels for during your stay. For those staying a week we offer our guests a washing service free of charge. (2 loads per week).
And of course, if the temptation is too hard to resist, all guests at Baldry's Cottage enjoy a discount on food & drinks at Baldry’s Tearoom throughout their stay
