Baldry's Grasmere is home to the famous Baldry's Tearoom. A traditional english Tea Room with vintage styling. We've been serving delicious home made food and drinks for over 25 years to local residents and visitors alike.

Each morning, we bake on site the fresh bread and cakes that adorn Baldry's Tearoom's counter using only the finest locally sourced ingriedients. Many of our customers welcome the fact that we offer a wide choice of products.
From delicious breads, chocolate brownies and plain scones to our sponge cakes, puddings and chutneys we have something for everyone. We have a large gluten free range, giving more people the chance to sample the delights of Baldry's Grasmere and our now famous home baking.
Born in Norfolk in 1828, William Baldry arrived in Grasmere in 1855. He became a leading member of The Lake District Association and made many contributions to the local area. His photography studio is now home to Baldrys Tearoom and Cottage. William (the bearded gentleman) died in 1918 at the age of 90.
