We’ve all had a tough few months during the government lockdown, but now restrictions are being eased, now is an even better time to visit the Lake District. The fresh countryside air provides a nice break from everyones new normal. Here we’ve thought of where to go now the Lake District is back open!
Walking on the fells is not just great exercise for you, but is also a great socially-distanced activity for the full family to enjoy. If your after a gentle strole along a lakeshore, or more of a hike, a nice day in the Lakes can sort this out for you! A nice selection of lakeside walks can be found here; https://www.sallyscottages.co.uk/blog/top-10-lakeside-walks
Brockhole is a fantastic adventure centre based on the shore of Lake Windermere. Activities include boat hire, kayaking, mini golf, archery, treetop nets and treetop trek. There’s so many activities to fulfil an action-packed day. Check out the website here; https://www.brockhole.co.uk/
Lets be honest, there’s plenty of wet days in the Lake District, all year round! A couple of our favourite places to have afternoon tea include the Daffodil hotel in Grasmere and the Wild Board near Windermere. Check out their websites and social media pages to see their yummy afternoon teas!
Baldry’s is back open from August 1st! See you soon.
