Another Brilliant Year!

2017, done! Yet again, here at Baldry’s Grasmere we’ve had another brilliant year! We’ve had plenty of exciting things going on, so why don’t we have have a quick look back at some of our recent projects?

Our trip to Japan!

We couldn’t believe our luck when we were invited out to open a pop-up Baldrys at the Mitsukoshi department store is Tokyo. Knowing this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, we grasped the chance of being able to take our traditional tearoom to the lovely people of Tokyo. We were that busy over there, we broke the British Fair Week’s sales record! This was an absolute highlight of our year, with customers mentioning it to us daily and an article being wrote about it in the local newspaper! There’s still a lot more to come on this story, so keep your eyes peeled! Hope to see you again soon Tokyo!

Mr Baldry!

Ever since Mr Baldry was released, he has been flying of the shelves! Our customers have been loving having their own teddy to remember us by! Many have been sent to people for Christmas presents, and we’ve also had a few customers send us photos of Mr Baldry in-front of local landmarks. Don’t worry, we’ve still got plenty left, so why not come in and get your own?

Even more specials!

Every now and again, we like to put on some extra special cakes throughout the year. We’ve had plenty on offer this year, including; Cheese and Marmite scones, cookies and cream cake, pistachio and rosewater sponge, and cranberry and orange scones. There will be plenty of more specials going on throughout the next year, so make sure you pay us a visit!

We have had a fantastic year here at Baldry’s Grasmere, and we hope 2018 is going to be even better! We hope you all have an amazing new year and hope to see you soon!
